Interesting response from the Commissioner General, what I am unable to understand is the part of his statement that " KRA is only looking for a database and not a computerised system" for 1 billion shillings.
Before this statement he made an even more interesting one “Our approach in this respect is informed by the fact that KRA’s core business is tax collection and not the development and maintenance of property or other databases.” so why hasn't KRA outsourced the SIMBA system and other applications?
