KICTANet is actively involved in promoting a safer internet environment through various initiatives.

We believe that everyone has a role to play in making the internet a safer and more inclusive space for all.

Through advocacy, capacity building, and policy engagement, we work to empower individuals and communities with the knowledge and tools to navigate the digital world securely.

Our Initiatives

Combacting Online Gender Based Violence(OGBV).

We have created an OGBV tracker to document incidents across Africa and advocate for policies to combat them at national and regional levels. We publish quarterly reports on the status of the tracker

We have developed a comprehensive cyber hygiene curriculum with various resources like videos, animations, comic strips, factsheets, and posters to promote cyber hygiene among Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Kenya.
