The preliminary, tentative judgment orders Sprint Nextel to pay customers $18.2 million in reimbursements and, more importantly, orders Sprint to stop trying to collect another $54.7 million from California customers (some 2 million customers total) who have canceled their contracts but refused or failed to pay the termination fee. While an appeal is inevitable, the ruling could have massive fallout throughout the industry. Without the threat of levying early termination fees, the cellular carriers lose the power that's enabled them to lock customers into contracts for multiple years at a time. And while those contracts can be heinously long, they also let the carriers offer cell phone hardware at reduced (subsidized) prices. AT&T's two-year contract is the only reason the iPhone 3G costs $199. If subsidies vanish, what happens to hardware lock-in? Could an era of expensive, but unlocked, hardware be just around the corner? It's highly probable. Of course, the carriers aren't going to take this lying down. Early termination fees are seen as critical to business, so carriers are expected to look for ways to reclassify the fees (such as by calling them "rates," part of the arcane set of laws that covers the telecommunications industry). The industry is also pushing for the federal government to step in and claim oversight over the early termination fee issue, which would invalidate any state ruling. The FCC is generally more tolerant of such fees, though Chairman Kevin Martin has proposed a plan whereby the fees are decreased the closer you are to the end of your contract. The FCC may also buy the argument that, since carriers are nationally based (and consumers can use their phones anywhere in the country), that a single policy should apply across the nation, rather than creating a patchwork of legislation that could lead to confusion and chaos caused by having 50 different policies. Is the early termination fee dead? Not yet, but it's looking a little haggard. Muzzling Expression, Maiming and Killing

Did I see a posting in this space talking of: 'gagging the media, threatening, maiming or killing'? Last night we had a 30-minute harrowing ordeal. Suspected thieves broke into our compound, tried to break into our house but were repelled by a combination of good neighbours, police and security guards. I would want to treat it as a normal insecurity incidence, unrelated to the concerns above that have been flying in this space. It is interesting, however, why pick on our house, amidst (and in between) several! At another level, there are a host of fundamental things that we have to address as a nation if we have to avoid being a failed state, and one of them is insecurity. Of the nearly 40 Africa's capital cities I have had the privilege to stay in, Kigali is probably the safest. In fact, contrary to the outside perception of the genocide, insecurity, etc, Kigali could well be one of the safest cities on earth. Addis isn't any much worse! If Nairobi/Kenya is to reclaim its glory, security has to be restored, along with the other fundamental 'go wrongs'. I pray that no one else - both on and off these lists - go through that kind of trauma. Best rgrds, Shem

Dear all An interesting discussion (see below from the global internet governance list)on the security of the internet a major scam site called www.beijingticketing.com many have lost money and it still appears on google searches. It does brings to fore issues of trust for us in Kenya. With state of the art broadband coming soon to the room next to you, I wonder about the level of trust/confidence people have on the internet/computers/mobile phones? this will be an issue when it comes to widespread acceptance of all the ICT initiatives we are about to roll out when TEAMS comes. ISPs and Bandwidth

Hey, I was wondering whether it's possible for ISPs to be forced under a law (which can be enacted if one doesn't exist) to host applications on their servers that clients can use to check how much bandwidth the client is recieving. I believe it's very unfortunate when ISPs say they are giving a client x bandwidth but the client is experiencing far much less. Isn't that stealing? Bottom line is that the clients need some assurance as to what they are paying for. o_O?

Dear all, Please note that for what seems to be the past 72 hours the KICTANET mailing list server has been experiencing problems that have led it to trigger a feature that automatically unsubscribes mailing list members. Without going into too much detail, the listserv is hosted by a local ISP who has provided a couple of "outgoing" servers that it relays mail through. One of these has had issues and been illegitimately bouncing back messages to the KICTANET server. If you receive a message asking you to confirm your subscription by clicking on a link, please do while you are online and your normal subscription will continue. This problem of sharing bandwidth is especially worse in buildings using a common infrastructure e.g. WIMAX or fiber. There is no QOS with almost all these providers and during peak hours all the users experience terrible slow down. The providers will mostly woo you by telling you of possibilities of getting even higher bandwidth than you're paying for when traffic is low, but this only happens in the evenings and over the weekends. Internet is however critical to a business during working hours when real business is transacted and real work done. I think it's only good policies and proper enforcement methods that can help us out in this one. But even worse is the way the SLA's for the provisioning of internet are done. Th common practice is where the ISP's does the document while the customer / consumer just sign it. I think there is need for this practice and role to be reversed so that the consumer does the SLA and ensures there are means to measure whether the ISP is keeping to their part of the bargain and what to do when in violation of the agreement. Otherwise for now they have been having their cake and eating it at the same time, as they are the players and also set the rules of the game. CCK can do this, but there's a need for greater technical capacity to enforce it. For example someone signing up for 512 may not receive less than about 400. For some businesses where bandwidth is critical then a smaller variance may apply. I've also heard that the 512 (or whichever amount of bandwidth) can be shared. As long as a client is aware of sharing and s/he knows the net bandwidth they should recieve and the variance to expect, and the client goes ahead and signs the contract then no problem. All in all it's a serious issue that leads to a lot of losses when employees can't work because net is down or too slow. If there was a sturdy on this I wouldn't be surprised if the economy is loosing lots(billions) of money. Also consider companies that are afraid to come into the country because of this bandwidth issue. Good Furahi-day Gentlmen & Ladies, I believe the govenment, parastatals, related agencies and private organizations like financial institutions e.g. CMA, should consider cloud computing as a way to move Kenya ahead. Why? I will answer that briefly with some examples. 1. Any organization (e.g. NGOs) who wants to transact with govenment can link with their Web Service applications. A Web Service application is a piece of software that runs on a server. It encapsulates the business rules of an organization and it is specialized in performing a particular function. More than one Web Service application can be used to create an entire business process. Institutions have rules and services that they provide and sometimes it's not really their interest to act on those rules i.e. they can create rules meant to be followed by other institutions/organizations, these are good candidates for Web Service applications. For example the ministry of immigration can host a Web Service application that simply maintains the records of people in Kenya, and any other institution (e.g. banks) that wants access to this information knows where the official place for getting the information is. Therefore software running in the bank meant should link with the Web Service application from the immigration department to obtain people's records. This point is very summarized. I would encourage you to open your mind and think of the possibilities. One of the basic ideas here is Separation of Concerns i.e. do what you are meant to do and do it well! 2. It is independent of the platform on which the Web services/cloud computing is taking place. 3. There is great investment in the local fibre connection and in the next few years it seems network connection will be very good. 4. Business for data centers. 5. It is local content! 6. It is cheaper to build and maintain. One barrier might be whether the current software systems bought (by government) can be easily configured to work in a cloud computing environment, i.e. having the software run as web services. If these systems were done locally (apart from the obvious gains of employment, utilizing the country's knowlegable workforce, encouraging research in higher education institutions, etc) adjusting them to new technology is convinient and the client buying the software is bound to Kenyan law and not the laws of the country where the software originated. Another advantage of going local is that foreign companies that charge expensively for their software might be reluctant to adjust the software to work with technology that is cheaper for the client and in this case Web Services are probably cheaper as refactoring (changing) the software is less complex because the components are loosely coupled. This is a big topic and I should probably write a proper/formal paper on this but due to time I cannot, though if anyone manages to write one have the courtesy to credit me (if u got the idea from this email). The Dow Jones industrial average .DJI fell 1.1 percent and the Standard & Poor's 500 Index .SPX slipped 0.2 percent. In contrast, the Nasdaq Composite Index gained 1.2 percent. Britain's blue-chip FTSE index ended 0.2 percent lower on Friday, as banking and insurance stocks fell on a gloomy economic outlook, outweighing gains in commodities and retail sector shares. http://www.kbc.co.ke/story.asp?ID=51512 EAC members to draft a ICT policy Written By:KNA , Posted: Mon, Jul 28, 2008 Member states of the East African Community (EAC) have resolved to come up with a harmonized Information Communication technology (ICT) policy to promote regional integration to yield effective business investment opportunities. Participants at the EAC National Workshop for ICT Policy Review at a Nairobi hotel were Monday told that it was important for them to come up with a common policy for five member countries; Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi. Information and Communication Permanent Secretary Dr. Bitange Ndemo in his address speech in opening the seminar said the community was looking towards deepening political, social, economic and cultural integration in order to improve the quality of life of people through increased competitiveness, value added production, trade and investment. "As you already know we have made a lot of progress towards integration of Customs Union in East Africa and our aim when we bring the five partner countries together is to establish a common market of at least 120 million people," he said. The PS said once the policy becomes synchronized East Africa residents would enjoy the benefit of sending data across the borders without hitches, as the ultimate outcome of the policy would ensure a level playing field for member countries. Dr. Ndemo said as the stakeholders discuss on the harmonization of the policy they needed to focus on issues such as market structures and regulations, effects a single market on consumers, political, economic and social considerations, institutional arrangements and prioritization areas. Kenya's Policy Review Framework he said was centered on the importance of ICT policy environment, interconnection costs, innovative technology and Finance, Internet Governance, Open access, ICT and violence against women, participation in international bodies and ICT and environment (E-waste). He said the Government has had problems with innovative technologies like the M-PESA as a lot of people in the financial sector complained of encroachment in banking sector while the region generally lacked adequate representation in international bodies for failing to sponsor somebody to represent the countries at the international organizations. He announced that the ICT Bill already has been published, was currently under review, and told the EAC stakeholders that the parliamentary committee on Information and Communication would invite them to discuss the bill in the next three weeks. He said the bill covers E-transaction and broadcasting with a broadcasting law that would lead to proper regulation of radio and television content. He also said the Freedom of Information Bill had reached advanced stages while the Government was also working on a new Bill called Data Protection Bill not covered in the ICT Bill. And the EAC Secretary General who was represented at the meeting by Philip Wambugu, Director of Planning and Infrastructure at the EAC secretariat said there was need to develop a policy that would lead to creation of an environment to foster massive expansion in coverage and capacity of information infrastructure network. He said that even though the region has witnessed growth of the mobile industry there was still limited improvement in broadband networks thus killing opportunities for development. "The universal access to ICT network and service as an indicator is still far from being a reality," said he.

Briefing note of the Paris meeting

BRIEFING NOTE - Overall summary of the Paris meeting *http://par.icann.org/briefing-note What was it?* ICANN's 32nd international public meeting was one of three held annually to conduct policy development and outreach. It was hosted by ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) and Agifem, a non-profit organization made up of several French Internet companies and organizations. The meeting was opened by the Eric Besson, France's Minister of State for forward planning, assessment of public policies, and development of the digital economy. 1,672 people participated from 166 different countries, making this ICANN's biggest ever meeting. The participants engaged in a wide range of discussions about the Internet's domain name system and related issues. Further information about the meeting, including presentations and transcripts, is available at http://par.icann.org/. ICANN's next international public meeting will take place in Cairo, Egypt, beginning on 3rd November, 2008. *What happened and what are the next steps? * Many meetings, workshops, public forums and informal discussions were held over six days by the different stakeholders of the ICANN model: • business interests • civil society • governments and government agencies • Internet service providers • registrants • registrars • registries • the technical community Several key issues and themes evolved over the course of the meeting. They are summarized below. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *New gTLDs* ICANN's Board of Directors took a significant step forward on the introduction of new generic top-level domains (new gTLDS - extensions to the domain name system in addition to, for example, .COM or .INFO). The Board approved the policy recommendations on new gTLDs developed by the GNSO, ICANN's policy development arm for the generic name space. The Board directed ICANN staff to further develop and complete a detailed implementation plan. New generic top-level domains were a featured topic of conversation during the meeting. The week began with a dedicated two-and-a-half-hour interactive session where experts from different industries and sectors around the world shared a diversity of views about the potential changes to the Internet as the New gTLD Program is launched. The workshop was presented with MARQUES, the Association of European trademark owners, which represents trademark owners' interests before EU and other international bodies. ICANN staff updated the community on how new gTLDs may be implemented, including a timeline and recent steps taken to address potential disputes. Similar updates were presented to the various stakeholders including the GNSO Council. New gTLDs were also discussed at the Public Forum, later in the week. During the meeting, a number of suggestions for new gTLDs also emerged. The discussions on new gTLDs were the subject of worldwide and widespread press coverage including by BBC, CNN, NBC, Les Echos, Business Week, Le Monde, Liberation, The Times of London, the Financial Times, and other media outlets all over the world. Before the new gTLD introduction process is launched, the Board will be given a final version of the implementation proposals of the proposed process after a community review. *More information:* More information can be found online at: http://www.icann.org/topics/new-gtld-program.htm ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *IDNs and IDN Fast Track* Much of the discussion about Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) during the Paris meeting centered on the work of the IDNC Working Group (IDNC WG). The IDNC WG was chartered by the Board at its November 2007 meeting. Its participants were appointed by the following supporting organizations and advisory committees of ICANN: the Country Code Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO), GNSO, Government Advisory Committee (GAC), At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) and Security and Stability Advisory Committee (SSAC). The group has been working on the issue of an accelerated introduction of IDNs (the "fast track") where specific, non-controversial country-code top-level domains in non-Latin scripts could be approved and added to the Internet's root without having to wait for the full approval process to be finalized. The IDNC WG released its draft final report on the feasibility of this approach for public comment two weeks prior to the Paris meeting. The report provided a number of high-level recommendations and received broad approval from the ccNSO and the GAC. On the broader topic of IDNs, the Director of the IDN Program, Tina Dam, gave updates to the Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees, describing progress on technical and other IDN implementation issues. IDNs were discussed at the Public Forum, and a progress update was also given on the final day of the meeting. Of particular interest was how finalization of the IDNA protocol revision would impact top-level IDN domains, in particular when and how they will be introduced. *Next steps:* The Board asked the IDNC WG final report to be posted for public comment and asked staff to produce a detailed report on implementation issues, following consultation with the community, in time for the next meeting in Cairo in November 2008. *More information:* More information can be found online at: http://ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/idnc-charter.htm and at http://icann.org/topics/idn ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Improving Institutional Confidence* The Paris meeting saw the release of three documents from the President's Strategy Committee (PSC) outlining a new "Improving Institutional Confidence" public consultation. This consultation's aim is for the community to discuss possible changes to ICANN in the lead up to the completion of the JPA in September 2009. This work has been led by the PSC whose role is to provide advice to the Board. The three documents – Improving Institutional Confidence in ICANN, Transition Action Plan and Frequently Asked Questions – were used as the basis for a two-hour discussion session. During a public meeting on the issue, the PSC explained how the consultation would work and how people could find out more information at each stage. The issue was also given a dedicated timeslot in the Public Forum. The documents are currently out for public comment (closing on 31 July). *Next Steps: * The consultation process outlined in the Transition Action Plan will be followed. The entire community is encouraged to read the documents and send their comments in before 31 July. The documents will then be revised and put out for additional comment in September 2008 in preparation for further discussions at the Cairo meeting in November. A final report by the PSC will be provided to the Board in December. *More information:* More information is available online at: http://icann.org/jpa/iic ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Independent Reviews* The independent review process requires each of ICANN's Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees to undergo review every few years to make sure that the organization as a whole continues to serves the needs of the global Internet community. There are several independent reviews currently underway or soon to be launched. The Board of Directors is also undergoing an independent review in 2008. The Paris meeting saw a number of updates on the current reviews. *GNSO* The GNSO's review has been completed and it is now in the implementation stage. The Board approved all but one of the recommendations developed by a special Board working group to improve the effectiveness of the GNSO's policy activities, structure, operations and communications. Recommendations to be implemented include: • use of a working group model for future policy development • a revised policy development process • enhancements to the different constituencies that make up the GNSO • improved communications. The Board deferred its final decision on one recommendation - restructuring the GNSO Council – and decided to give the GNSO one last chance to submit a consensus recommendation on how to structure the Council before it makes its final decision in the next few weeks. The Board requested that the GNSO convene a small working group to submit a consensus recommendation on Council restructuring no later than 25 July. The group is to include one member from each constituency, one of the current Nominating Committee appointees, and one member from each liaison-appointing advisory committee (if that advisory committee so desires). In a related development, the GNSO Council postponed a vote on a top-level GNSO Improvements Implementation Plan and called for a 21-day public comment forum on the document. That open public comment forum closes on 18 July 2008. *ALAC* Two public sessions and two informal sessions were held to discuss a report from the ALAC's independent reviewers. The Board's ALAC review working group held its first sessions. The draft report is currently out for public comment. *Board of Directors* The Boston Consulting Group was selected as the consultant to perform the independent review of the Board of Directors. *Nominating Committee* A working group created by the Board Governance Committee is working on recommendations following the independent evaluators' report on the Nominating Committee. *Others* The Board established three working groups to review future independent review reports. They will cover: the Board, the DNS Root Server System Advisory Committee (RSSAC), and the Security and Stability Advisory Committee (SSAC). *Next steps:* The reviews will continue to progress through each step in the review process. The amendments were outlined in meetings with individual Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees, as well as a dedicated one-and-a-half-hour public workshop. RAA amendments also had a specific timeslot for discussion during the Public Forum, and were further outlined at the final day's report session. There were two main recommendations in the paper: • that ICANN move from three to two meetings a year; and • that one of those meetings be held in a "hub" city. It was organized in cooperation with the E-Business, IT and Telecoms Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Other issues* • The Board approved a recommendation by the GNSO to tackle "domain tasting". • The FY09 ICANN operating plan and budget of $57.1m were adopted by the Board. • Approval was given to a plan by PIR (the Public Interest Registry) to add the security protocol DNSSEC to the .org registry. • An "At Large Summit" was approved to enable representatives of Internet user groups (At-Large Structures) to meet together within the next year, most likely at the Mexico City meeting in March 2009. • The SSAC published a number of new reports and survey results relating to security and stability of the Internet. Private disclosures of this kind also give DNS operators an opportunity to patch systems before the vulnerabilities can be exploited for malicious or criminal purposes. This vulnerability does not affect root-level servers or services that provide authoritative name service at the top level. But it does represent a threat for domain name servers that operate between end users and the root; servers operated by Internet Service Providers or large enterprises. Commercial service providers in general are aware of this issue, and are working with vendors to update their software to the latest versions. ICANN's Security Stability Advisory Committee will be examining this issue and may report more fully later. Dear Colleagues, Transforming governments is not easy. While technology alone cannot transform governments, governments today cannot transform without technology. In the fast paced world of technology, new approaches constantly extend the boundaries of what is possible. The pace of change is evidenced by the fact that terms like SOA, WOA, community sourcing, cloud computing, software-as-a-service, and Web 2.0 that seem almost common place today, were not in the lexicon only a few years ago. harmonization policy for government ICT projects?

The Ministry of Lands is going hi-tech (http://www.nationmedia.com/dailynation/nmgcontententry.asp?category_id=1&ne…) so is/was the Immigration Ministry, the Ports Authority with its failed/failing KWATOS system, the KRA... etc. Is there a gov't policy to guide Ministries or gov't agencies on implementation of such complex systems? A set of guidelines/best-practices? Minimum standards on care and retention of Kenyans' personal information? Most of those systems have a basic set of identical data (Kenyans' personal information: name, ID, etc): any guidelines on how the systems should inter-operate? In case of conflicting personal data, which of these systems is "official"? Apologies if this was discussed/settled earlier. Saidi

Nairobi Buzz: Flip Video captures Kenya's Jimi Hendrix The day I picked up the Flip Video camera I had a late dinner/drink with Harry Hare at Rezorus, a restaurant in Westlands. We innocently walked in and took our seats not knowing that that night was slated for a special performance by one of Nairobi's hottest bands. Within a very short time we realised that this was no ordinary evening as people kept streaming in and the place got fuller. But we cared less as the band kept belting out their own renditions of popular songs, both old as well as new. The hottest was probably "Hotel California" - during which the guitarist played the guitar solo Jimi Hendrix style with his teeth. As he was doing this, Harry punched me and pointed at the Flip - "Go catch that!" he shouted. Jacob Wire/European Pressphoto Agency Google has mapped Nairobi and wants to add similar detail for other African cities. Other places must be content with technologies made by others. Yet people in these areas are dreaming of more. Consider Wilfred Mworia, a 22-year-old engineering student and freelance code writer in Nairobi, Kenya. In the four weeks leading up to Apple’s much-anticipated release of a new iPhone on July 11, Mr. Mworia created an application for the phone that shows where events in Nairobi are happening and allows people to add details about them. Mr. Mworia’s desire to develop an application for the iPhone is not unusual: many designers around the world are writing programs for the device. But his location posed some daunting obstacles: the iPhone doesn’t work in Nairobi, and Mr. Mworia doesn’t even own one. He wrote his program on an iPhone simulator. “Even if I don’t have an iPhone,” Mr. Mworia says defiantly, “I can still have a world market for my work.” Nairobi’s challenges are many. Internet use is relatively expensive and slow. Power failures are common. The city also lacks a world-class technical university. Mr. Mworia’s professors don’t offer lessons in the latest computer languages; he must learn them on his own. Political instability can be a problem, too. Earlier this year, Kenya suffered widespread violence after its disputed national election. For weeks, work in Nairobi came to a halt. “If you have a bright idea in Nairobi, you can’t just turn it around,” says Laura Frederick, an American working on an online payment system in the city. Still, Nairobi is home to a digital brew that invites optimism about its chances for creating unusual innovations. The city has relatively few wired phone lines or networked personal computers, so mobile phones are the essential digital tool. Four times as many people have them as have bank accounts. Text messages are far more popular than e-mail. Safaricom, the dominant mobile provider, offers a service called M-pesa that lets customers send money with text messages. Nokia sells brand-new phones here for as little as $33. While engineers in the United States lavish attention on expensive phones that boast laptoplike features, in Kenya there are 10 million low-end phones. Millions more are used elsewhere in Africa. Enhancements to such basic phones can be experimented with cheaply in Nairobi, and because designers are weaned on narrow bandwidth, they are comfortable writing compact programs suited to puny devices. “Applications are heavy in America,” says Michael Wakahe, a Nairobi code writer. “Here we have to make them light,” because simpler hardware requires smaller programs. These can have advantages in wireless systems. The distinctive digital experience in Nairobi inspires confidence in its youthful community of programmers, bloggers and Web enthusiasts. Over the past year, about 600 people in Nairobi — most under 25 — have coalesced into a group called Skunk Works, sharing ideas and encouraging new businesses. In June, it held an all-day workshop that included sessions on using the Android phone operating system from Google, developing applications for digital maps and creating content for mobile phones. “Possibilities are opening up for us,” says Josiah Mugambi, one of the group’s organizers. The prospect of marrying low-end mobile phones with the Internet is earning Nairobi notice from outsiders, who wonder whether the city might emerge as a test-bed for tomorrow’s technologies. One intriguing possibility is broadcasting local television programs on mobile phones. In Nairobi’s highest-profile validation, Google opened a development office here last September. “Africa is a huge long-term market for us,” Eric E. Schmidt, Google’s chief executive, said by e-mail. “We have to start by helping people get online, and the creativity of the people will take care of the rest.” Google hired seven recent university graduates, who digitally mapped the streets and structures of Nairobi for Google Maps. The company is now doing the same for other African cities. A leading Nairobi television broadcaster, NTV, has made a deal to present whole episodes of its programs on YouTube, a Google property. Google plans to hire more people in Nairobi and is recruiting staff in half a dozen other African cities. In Nairobi, Google chose a veteran of the city’s Internet-access industry to lead its office. The company assigned two Americans here; like the presidential candidate Barack Obama, each is the child of a Kenyan and an American. The company’s presence has raised ambitions. “When I interview people for jobs in this office,” explains Chris Kiagiri, a Google technology officer in Nairobi, “I ask them, ‘What would you like to see Google do in this market that it has not attempted anywhere else in the world?’” “A lot of people assume Google is trying to replicate in Africa what it has done elsewhere,” adds Mr. Kiagiri, who transferred last year from Google’s head office in California. “Sure, we want to bring existing products into this market. But we also want to organize information locally in a way we haven’t done elsewhere.” To be truly creative in a technological backwater is to defeat geography. Even as powerful a technological force as Google might not succeed. But dreaming of greatness, Kenyans are pushing Google to expand into completely new areas. One local programmer, Timothy Mbugua, wants Google to enhance its communication backbone so he can use it to build a money-transfer business that would charge lower rates than existing services. While it sounds daunting, Mr. Mbugua explains, “I’m only saying to Google, ‘This is what I need from you in order to execute my idea.’” G. I have a problem with the same media house and the most unfortunate thing is that they have a newspaper onto which they give instructions on subscribing but not unsubscribing. I know that they know themselves and if they do not willingly give both the instructions I think they should be taken to KACC on charges of fraud. They should give customers a chance to subscribe and subscribe in their own volition but not trap them in.
