Increasing dependency of applications on I/O, emergence of new I/O technologies and integration lead us to believe that I/O will have a profound influence on future microprocessor architecture. The workshop solicits original papers on completed work, future directions, position papers, and/or work-in progress papers in the following areas. We encourage all to submit papers that bring out new and interesting approaches even if they are in early stages of development. As requested earlier, the original presentations are necessary to enable those that participated factually validate what will be presented at India IGF as a true reflection of local deliberations. When content becomes harmful....hard questions?

A very tragic day in India and while the situation unfolds, there are some concerns that content can have its problems. One of the biggest sites that have been busy is a service called Tweeter which allows members to share information. The members are doing so publicy and seems placing the recovery ops at risk. Anyway, I thought I'd share my thoughts.

As of today WSA involves representatives from 168 countries all over the world. Focusing on cultural identity and diversity, the WSA looks for multimedia projects that effectively and creatively work with quality contents and digitalize educational, scientific and cultural heritage.
