Dear All
Parliament has re-opened and we need to start thinking/planning re;
lobbying.
We had agreed to develop a short and very very simple document on ICTs and
their importance. See attached brief developed by Warigia. Have added
comments.
Please have a look and if you have any comments/additions please include
them. Please ensure track changes tool is on so that we can re-work the
document.

Hi All,
The Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Information and
Communications, Engineer James Rege, expressed desire
to finalise Kenya National ICT Policy by May , 2005 in
order to launch it in the ICTe Africa Conference in
Nairobi in May, 2005. He expressed this on March
16,2005, when addressing the Launch of ICTe Africa
Conference breakfast meeting at the Hilton Hotel. The
launch was officiated by His Exellency Hon. Dr. Moody
Awori, the Vice President of the republic of Kenya and
Dr. Birahim Seck, President of NEPAD Council.
