Again, what role does ICT play in bringing this change? In dictating how we are governed? In ensuring that our new constitution is followed to the letter? In getting the masses educated, so they do not get to elect sycophants to higher offices? I hope the waves that are sweeping Egypt; Tunisia and Algeria are headed south and that ICT has a role in it!!..it might be the solution that many of us in Kenya and indeed Africa have been looking for, for such a long time! Hello listers, A while back i read somewhere that a number of centers had been deployed countrywide through the partnership of the ICT board and some service providers. Im in need of info on where the nearest one to kilifi town is located. These prices are not reasonable. In East Timor, which is a tiny very underdeveloped country a long way from major centres and supplied only by satellite you can get 512k from the official supplier for $200. These prices are not reasonable. Dear All, I support the merger of section 7 and 10 . They lead to the same thing. On tenure of office, the council members term should be limited to two. The chairmanship can also be limited to 2 especially if the council will be mandated to elect it's chair because they can vote him/ her out after the first term and it will provide good continuity since they will still be members of the council.
