One of the reason that so many initiatives have failed is because they have concentrated on PPPs instead of MSPs! Dear Colleagues, KICTANet and the Association for Progressive Communications (APC), with support from the International Development and Research Centre (IDRC) will be hosting a Regional ICT for Development network building workshop from 19th to 24 May 2008 in Nairobi. Seven national networks from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda are coming together to share regional information on ICT4D developments and initiatives, opportunities and lessons learnt. The workshop will see the formation of an East African ICT for Development network that will aim at encouraging cooperation among ICT policy advocacy related networks in the region.
